About Us
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Site Supervisor to join our Chipping Norton Recycling Team on day shifts.
Reporting to the Site Manager, the Site Supervisor will play a key leadership role in directing, coordinating, and scheduling the work of a busy, fast paced team.
Role Responsibilities:
Oversee production rates and product yields to meet targets.
Ensure efficient plant operation and maintain material quality.
Assign tasks and roles to meet production targets.
Maintain high customer service standards.
Manage truck waiting times and prevent yard congestion.
Handle and report customer complaints.
Coordinate with our Maintenance Supervisor for equipment upkeep and minimise downtime.
Identify and resolve equipment maintenance issues with the Site Manager.
Perform safe and efficient plant start-up and shutdown procedures.
Conduct regular safety training and maintain site housekeeping.
Respond to and report workplace injuries.
Ensure compliance with WHS policies and procedures.
Monitor and manage environmental factors such as dust, water, and noise.
Conduct daily toolbox meetings and complete necessary paperwork accurately.
Ensure project compliance with product gradings.
Regularly inspect material piles to ensure compliance
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will demonstrate.
Previous experience in a recycling or quarry environment (desirable).
Previous experience supervising or managing a team.
Experience operating mobile plant (desirable).
Ability to work in a high pressured, high paced environment.
The ability to drive a strong safety culture amongst the team.
Driver’s license required.
